Aurora Australis 15th August 2015.
There have been some amazing photos traveling around on social media in past weeks that capture rare weather phenomena like this. I have myself witnessed these rare events, but must admit that on this night I was tucked up in my warm bed. These Aurora Hunters are a dedicated group of photographers who go out in the freezing winter nights to capture these photos. The photos from Ararat and Stawell show images of our local Grampians area.
