There is nothing like a progress report due in to get you weaving. But I always wish that I had that 'BIT MORE' woven. I am happy with this tapestry so far. I feel that the colours sit well together. It is always exciting to begin a new colour and see the tapestry building up into a picture. The lemon now looks like a big shape in the design but the apple and pear will be larger.
I cant wait to get up to weave the apple and begin to add in the wonderful reds. Lots of hours weaving ahead.
This morning I was reading Elaine Duncan's tapestry blog. There is a wonderful on line exhibition titled ' The Tapestry Recipe Collection' From Tapis ( Tapestry Weavers of Vancouver Island ) It is a wonderful collection of Tapestries with an accompanying recipe. Well worth a browse.
Details of current tapestry below.

Those colors are absolutely yummy, Debbie! Can't wait to see this completed.
