If ’time is your friend’ and you should resist opening your dyed bundles for a few weeks while they ‘sit’ it is a good idea to leave home for a while!
One dye bath many different colours. From left to right, silk and cotton mix hand stitching thread, silk tied with silk, cotton muslin tied with wool, felt stitched with silk and tied with wool.
Wool. different silks and the darkest one is silk and cotton hand stitching thread.
Somehow I think that this one is the biggest mystery? Look at the difference between the colour of the silk and the wool that it was tied with!
