Tapestry "Triumph of Fame"

The internet can be a huge timewaster, but every now and then you come across something wonderful.

Sitting here in my home in rural Victoria, Australia I was able to watch a scholars talk by Thomas Campbell, Director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Considered an expert in tapestry, from late medieval to the baroque period. There was a lot of fanfare from the textile world when he was appointed Director last year.
